About Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia and is surrounded by Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. The capital of Kyrgyzstan is Bishkek. State universities represent 73% of the college education, and the remaining 27% is in the hands of private entities. Tertiary schools offer traditional type-Five year programs or multilevel, optional type programs, which comprise Vocational, bachelor’s, and graduate studies. There are also adult education programs for those who want to pursue their studies at an older age.

Although the country has a broad mix of traditions and cultures. The majority of population Kyrgyzstan follows Islam, people being Sunni Muslim, the remaining population comprises of Russians and Christians. There are other religious people, too, such as Buddhists, Roman Catholics, Judaism, etc.
