LOCATION & WEATHER
In China, the Southern bank of the yellow river is very beautiful and the area of Zhengzhou lies here. Henan is the most populated province in China and Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan.
Zhengzhou is the largest city coming on the second number in China. Talking about location, it is the most beautiful place that attracts tourists every year.
There are100 million people in Henan Province alone. Zhengzhou is the place with four seasons and the four seasons are cold, dry, winter, and hot humid climate. It is a monsoon-influenced place.
14.4 degrees Celsius is the annual average temperature. The daily temperature ranges from 0.1 degrees Celsius in January to July.
The scenery is very beautiful and attracts a lot of visitors. July is the hottest month in Zhengzhou, snowfall occurs occasionally.
Autumn is welcomed with open arms and September to November is the time when the climate and nature can be observed clearly.
HOW TO REACH ZHENGZHOU UNIVERSITY
From the railway station to the campus, the taxi takes 50 minutes to reach there and the rate is 40-50 yuan. From international airport to campus, the taxi takes 90 minutes and the rate is 200 RMB Yuan
FOOD
Food is served with a lot of varieties. There are many restaurants in Zhengzhou which provide better food and a place to catch up with friends. For international students, there is a cafeteria, shops, etc. opened everywhere in every corner.
There are some Indian restaurants too which provide food to students who come from India. The hostel in the University also provides an Indian food facility. There are a variety of cuisines available for the students.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN ZHENGZHOU UNIVERSITY
English language is the only medium of instruction there, because the subjects like medical science, philosophy, humanities and other science, computer related and engineering subjects can’t be taught in other languages keeping in view the ranking of the university.
Also, there are a few departments which deal with different languages and literatures and the English language can’t be an appropriate medium for them to instruct or study, etc.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students must have more than 60% marks in 12th standard.
- The student must have NEET qualification with above 55% in PCB in 10+2, otherwise, he\she won’t be eligible to apply for it.
- In the case of Humanities and other subjects like Law, Engineering, etc, there are various entrance tests conducted online, and qualifying them is the only way to help get enrolled.
- The age of a student or applicant must be more than 17 years and less than 25 years.
- A student must have chemistry, physics, and Biology as the main subject in 12th standard.
DEGREE
The study at Zhengzhou University is on twelve fields which include science, Math’s, law, medicine, literature, engineering, history, philosophy, economics, pedagogy, and agriculture, etc.
The faculty in the college has top class faculties and affiliated hospitals. There are a total of 107 undergraduate programs that Zhengzhou provides and it has 55 master programs for post-graduation and that too leveled.
The master programs are available for second-level discipline and there are around 237 master’s degree programs.
The university provides 21doctorate programs to the students of level-1 discipline and 124 doctorate programs of level-2 discipline. Along with these programs, there are 23 post-doctoral research stations also available for students.
