The university is located in Siming District, Xiamen. Fujian, China.

HOW TO REACH XIAMEN UNIVERSITY
Xiamen Gaoqi International airport is the nearest airport to the university for international students. The students have a warm welcome by the University and are treated with proper refreshments by the faculty and for the hostel students, proper dining and eating facilities are there.
FOOD
The canteen of Xiamen University is very famous and is popularly known as “ Furong Canteen”.
It has great reviews in china. There is a great variety of food offered in the canteen, having a track for international students as well. The canteen is well sanitized and is properly cleaned.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN XIAMEN UNIVERSITY
English was not previously there in the university but in recent years, the university had to introduce some English medium courses for international students. Chinese and Mandarin are there for native students.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students must have more than 60% marks in 12th standard.
- The student must have NEET qualification with above 55% in PCB in 10+2, otherwise, he\she won’t be eligible to apply for it.
- In the case of Humanities and other subjects like Law, Engineering, etc, there are various entrance tests conducted online, and qualifying them is the only way to help get enrolled.
- The age of a student or applicant must be more than 17 years and less than 25 years.
- A student must have chemistry, physics, and Biology as the main subject in 12th standard.
DEGREE
The university has a great variety of 82 courses for undergraduate programs. Giving a choice of 279 graduate programs is not a small thing! And having 185 Ph.D. programs. The university has a vast number of choices for the students to opt for their subjects. The university has given birth to more than 200,000 undergraduate students and graduate students. The university also has a graduate school plus ten research institutes for the students.
